Based at the University of Edinburgh, and with collaborations with other UK universities and international companies, the Tasker group is involved with projects that cover a variety of themes, from selective metal recovery and purification, corrosion protection and passivation, to lubricants and perfumes. |

Coordination Chemistry and Ligand Design
Co-ordination chemistry has a major impact on many areas of science, ranging from photophysics to biology, and underpins the development of many industrial products and processes. Primarily focussing on ligand design, the understanding of fundamental interactions is core to our research and can lead to the development of much greener products and processes.
