It is with great regret that we announce the death of Hamish McNab. Hamish worked in the School of Chemistry for many years and left a huge impression on everyone he met.
RSC President-Elect
Lesley Yellowlees has been confirmed as the new RSC president-elect. She will take on the mantle in the summer and be the RSC president for 2012-2013.

We celebrate the career of Professor Robert Donovan on the 25th of June with a symposium and meal in his honour.

We were recently voted Best Department by EUSA at their annual Teaching Awards. The award is voted for by students so it is a great honour to win.
