Your Time at the University

I was the first of the Love family from Westfield to admit to the University of Edinburgh. I was also able to join BP and it meant you went during the summers to work with them. My PhD with Dr Percival involved carbohydrates. I followed with going to a postdoc with Professor Wolfrom at Ohio State.

Your Experiences Since Leaving the University

I joined Dow Chemical in Midland, MI in July 1965. I retired from Dow in January 1998 as Global Director of Discovery Process Research, Formulation of Science and Technology, Modelling & Information.
