Symposium on Inorganic Chemistry

The 2004 "Scottish Dalton" symposium was held in the School of Chemistry and the programme covered a very broad range of inorganic chemistry.

The two keynote speakers were:

1. Professor C.D. Garner, University of Nottingham,
   "Molybdopterin Complexes"
2. Professor T.P. Fehlner, University of Notre Dame, USA
   Systematic Metalloborane Chemistry"

with contributions also from Durham, Newcastle and most of the Scottish Universities.

Poster presentations were given and prizes awarded to Rory McIntosh of Heriot Watt University and Patrick Gunning of the University of Glasgow.
