The School of Chemistry Postgraduate Virtual Open Day is a great opportunity to learn more about continuing your Chemistry education at Masters or PhD level. Programme Directors, current students and on-programme teams will be happy to answer any questions you may have about studying Masters & PhD study opportunities and the support we provide you during your studies.

Through an online platform, Blackboard Collaborate, you can ask your questions and hear from senior Academic staff, current students and on-programme support teams. There will be two sessions, one covering Masters and the other covering PhD and MRes. They will both last for one hour. They will also be recorded, so you can watch at a later date if you are unable to attend.

    Masters Programmes at the School of Chemistry
    Dr Annamaria Lilienkampf, Head of MSc programmes at the School of Chemistry will cover the MSc programmes available. There will also be an opportunity to talk with current and previous MSc students and ask questions to senior academic staff as well as programme support team members. A fantastic opportunity to learn more about studying Chemistry at PGT level at the University of Edinburgh.
     
  • WED 18 MARCH 2020, 12:00-13:00 (UK time)
    Studying a PhD or MRes at the School of Chemistry
    Dr Fabio Nudelman, Head of PGR programmes at the School of Chemistry will cover the subjects and Research Themes available including MSc by Research. There will also be an opportunity to talk with current and past PhD students and ask questions to senior academic staff as well as programme support team members. A fantastic opportunity to learn more about studying a PhD or MRes in Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh.

Our virtual open day session is designed to inform you about the study opportunities available, the support you can expect from us, and the experience of current students. Sessions include:
