2 Students Awarded Researcher Mobility Grants

Awards will see students spend time in San Diego and New York

Piera Marchetti, from Professor Campopiano's group, and Peter Neate from Dr Thomas's group have each been awarded RSC Researcher Mobility Grants.

Piera will join Prof. Mike Burkart's lab in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of California, San Diego for three months this summer. Peter will be hosted by Professor Michael Neidig in the Department of Chemistry, University of Rochester, New York, also in the summer.

These highly competitve awards allow PhD and Masters students, as well as early career researchers, to undertake short to mid-term scientific visits to overseas or UK organisations.
