What to do next

The University of Edinburgh has a central Postgraduate application system. All applications should be made through the EUCLID Postgraduate Admissions web page. Apply using the links on the right side of the linked page and follow the instructions there.

The majority of our funding comes from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) which means that students need to meet certain requirements before they are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a 1st class or an upper 2nd class honours degree (or equivalent) and meet the residency requirements which restricts awards generally to UK and sometimes EU nationals.

You may also be eligible for a scholarship or bursary.

You can also search all of The University of Edinburgh's postgraduate courses using the Postgraduate Degree Finder.
