Scholarships and Bursaries

Scholarships available to students studying postgraduate Masters programmes in the School of Chemistry include:

• Scotland 's Saltire Scholarships **deadline 31st May 2013**
• University of Edinburgh Southern African Scholarships **deadline 26 April 2013**
• Principal's Indian Masters Scholarships **deadline 1 April 2013**

There are many other awards available through other funders both in the UK and in your home country.

Educational Loans

The University of Edinburgh is eligible to certify loan applications for students from:

• US financial institutions
• the Canadian government

We also have students who are funded by the following national schemes:

• the Icelandic Student Loan Fund
• the Danish Student Grants and Loans Scheme

Graduate Discount Scheme

The University of Edinburgh offers a 10% discount in postgraduate tuition fees for all alumni who have graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh. The Graduate Discount Scheme applies to both home and international students, and applies to the self-funding element of the postgraduate tuition fee.
