Paper provides perspectives from early-career researchers on the scientific writing process Shona Richardson, a postgraduate student from the School of Chemistry Campopiano group, has published an article in the Journal of Materials Chemistry A, titled “Scientific writing and publishing for early-career researchers from the perspective of young chemists”. The paper explores key aspects and challenges of scientific writing and provides practical suggestions from Shona and her co-authors based on their own experiences, with the aim of supporting the community of early-career researchers. It was written with the support of the European Chemical Society (EUChemS) and the European Young Chemists’ Network (EYCN). Shona’s research project is funded by the Derek Stewart Charitable Trust.
