Career Re-Entry Fellowships

The School is committed to supporting a diverse STEM workforce by supporting people to return to research after a career break.

Career re-entry fellowships typically provide financial assistance to resume research activities after a career interruption. Career re-entry fellowship holders in the School will typically be expected to work closely with an existing academic staff member to facilitate their career re-entry. Informal inquiries should be directed to a prospective mentor in the first instance.

The School has an open until filled vacancy for a part-time Daphne Jackson Fellowship. Potential candidates should contact the Daphne Jackson Trust in the first instance. Informal inquiries to a prospective mentor are also encouraged. You can read more about the scheme on the Daphne Jackson Trust website.
