Chemistry Alumna's Commonwealth Games Memories

Interview with star athlete reveals her fondest memories of competing and studying

Chemistry graduate Corrie Scott is one of Scotland’s most decorated and successful breast-stroke swimmers who was a serial winner at Scottish national, British Championships and British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) events. During her University swimming career she received the Eva Bailey Cup for the University’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2014, and a University Blue in 2017. Corrie's glittering swimming career was recognised in 2019 when she was inducted into the University of Edinburgh Sports Hall of Fame.

Corrie was selected for Scotland at 3 Commonwealth Games, making her debut at just 17 at Delhi 2010, going onto compete at Glasgow 2014 and Gold Coast 2018.
